This is a cold storage project of OnlyKem in the Dominican Republic. Cold storage is used to store ice.

The suitable storage temperature of ice cold storage is generally set between -18℃~-20℃. This temperature range effectively keeps the ice cubes frozen, preventing them from melting and losing their cooling effect. At this temperature, ice can maintain its solid form for a long time, ensuring that the cooling needs of refrigerated food or other items are met.

In order to achieve appropriate storage temperatures, ice cold storage requires the use of professional refrigeration equipment (Bitzer semi-hermetic piston compressor) and temperature control systems. These devices can monitor and adjust the temperature of the cold storage to ensure that it is always within the ideal range.

Insulation system for Cold storage

Wall panels, Ceiling panel and floor panel

Using 150mm PUR panel. The thermal insulation effect is excellent.

Cooling system for Cold storage

The compressor adopts original Bitzer semi-hermetic piston compressor. Gas R404A, R507, etc.

It is characterized by durability and high cooling efficiency. The parallel system can reasonably distribute the cooling capacity and achieve energy saving effect.

Air Cooled Condenser for Cold storage

Cabinet is steel plate with plastic spray, corrosion proof.

Mechanically expanded pipes with Aluminium fins, external fans, better heat transfer and durable.

Tested in 2.8MPa gas pressure, no any potential leakage.

Nitrogen blow away all Pollution in pipe system, ensuring longer lifetime.

When using ice cold storage, you need to pay attention to the following points:

  1. Regularly check the temperature and operating status of the cold storage to ensure that the temperature is stable and repair any faults in a timely manner.
  2. Avoid frequently opening the cold storage door to reduce temperature fluctuations and the possibility of heat entry.
  3. When storing ice cubes, appropriate containers and packaging materials should be used to prevent melting and contamination of the ice cubes.
  4. Clean the inside of the cold storage regularly to maintain good sanitary conditions to avoid the generation of bacteria and odors.
